Bella Hadid’s Valentine? This Romantic Red Vintage Gem
Bella Hadid has successfully established several strands of personal style: the red-carpet vamp, the cool off-duty model, the divine feminine, the chaps-wearing cowgirl. Sometimes she’s all-in, and sometimes they overlap. Stepping out in Los Angeles for a Valentine’s-themed dinner celebrating her brand Orebella, she embraced the more romantic side of her style.
Hadid’s dress was totally on theme: she wore a scarlet red dress from the Georges Chakra spring/summer 2003 collection, which featured a sheer, crystal-embellished cape top and a tight bodice that fell into a slinky column skirt with a ruffled knee-length hem. She styled the vintage gem with smooth leather point-toe pumps and a diamond bracelet. Her signature glam was glowy, with bronzed cheeks. Her long – and still very, very blonde – hair was crafted into a half-up, half-down do with height on the crown and clipped at the back with a dark red flower.
The intimate Orebella event took place at Los Angeles Italian hotspot Etra, with a meal of meatballs and pasta, then gelato and toffee pudding. Inside, guests were gifted floral silk scarves that they could have personally embroidered. Bella wrapped hers around her waist.
