In Leopard-Print Versace, Amal Clooney Is Ready For The 2026 Milan-Cortina Olympics
It’s a big week for Italy: on the eve of the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, Pieter Mulier was named as Versace’s new chief creative officer. And nobody seems more excited about both of these things than Amal Clooney, who touched down in Milan today wearing her very favourite label.
Earlier, just ahead of the Olympic opening ceremonies, the barrister and her husband George arrived in Milan, with both of them employing the same sartorial strategy of neutrals with a statement accessory. George opted for a navy blue jacket and trousers over a pair of Adidas, red-tinted sunglasses, and a black fringed scarf knotted at the neck.

Amal, for her part, went for all black: a boatneck top with a miniskirt, low-denier tights, and a black coat – but in place of her beloved pointy-toe pumps or neutral boots, this time she opted for true statement footwear: a pair of knee-high leopard-print boots with a four-inch heel from – where else? – Versace. And that wasn’t all on the Versace front: She also carried a sleek black Medusa 95 tote, instantly recognisable thanks to its telltale gold hardware.
A longtime friend of the house (and Donatella Versace herself), Amal’s wardrobe runneth over with Versace, be it custom gowns, vintage minidresses or killer shoes. When the Olympics kick off in earnest, look out for the Clooneys in the crowd.
