Olivia Rodrigo’s New Vintage Bag Is A Carrie Bradshaw Favourite
The enduring popularity of the Fendi Baguette shows no signs of waning. Immortalised by Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City during the ’90s (“it’s not a bag, it’s a Baguette!”), the likes of Bella Hadid, Lily Collins and Rihanna have all been spotted with vintage versions of the popular style in recent months.
The latest high-profile fan to join the list? Olivia Rodrigo, who attended the Grammys after-parties wearing a sheer lace minidress from Valentino’s spring/summer 2007 collection, sourced from Raffe Vintage, teamed with an archival peach sequin Fendi Baguette.

As a vintage obsessive, it’s perhaps not a surprise that Rodrigo has more than one Baguette in her collection – with the singer revealing the contents of her larger animal-print version as part of Vogue’s In the Bag series last year. “I’ve been so into animal print lately,” she said at the time, noting that the bag – which was a gift from a friend – is the perfect size. “I kinda schlep around a lot of stuff.”
With the Fendi Baguette being one of the most sought-after vintage bags of 2025, according to eBay’s Watchlist report, Rodrigo is clearly not alone in being won over by the style. “With a new wave of Sex and the City nostalgia and the resurgence of late ’90s and early ’00s styling, clients have been revisiting the silhouette in every fabric and finish,” Break Archive’s Gabriel Rylka previously told Vogue. As Rodrigo proves, whether for day or for night, there’s a vintage Fendi Baguette for every occasion.
