Emily Blunt’s Golden Globes 2026 Gown Teases ‘The Devil Wears Prada 2’ Fashion

So, a rail of 50 dresses does not faze this “girl gang of love” (Paster is brilliantly West Hollywood, and goes to a SoulCycle class to clear her head before every major awards ceremony). Blunt is the decisive one. With the press tour for The Devil Wears Prada 2 looming, she chose not to nod to her character in martial arts film The Smashing Machine, for which she is nominated for a 2026 Golden Globe, but rather to go fashion. A custom white Louis Vuitton column dress with a caped overlay spoke to her. “We wanted to go understated chic,” shares Paster. It was both perfect for a now eight-time Golden Globe nominee to assume her spot on the red carpet, and had just enough subtle hints about what we can expect when everyone’s favourite first assistant makes her comeback in the sequel.

“We had our first meeting with designers for the tour yesterday,” teases Paster (yes, her schedule is unfathomable.) “It was a lot of fun. No one knew the first film would become such a fashion bible of a movie, so the second time around, we can really play.” Gird your loins. Blunt’s Tiffany & Co. jewellery on the Golden Globes red carpet, including button earrings, an archive bracelet and a healthy dose of diamonds, shows the big brands are buying into the next round of promo.

Paster is prepared for the fever dream of a press trail that awaits them. “We know each other’s personalities so well, and we’ve worked together during the great times and the not so good points – that’s what makes a good relationship.” Any secrets to longevity to share? “Always pull the custom looks,” quips the stylist, a Hollywood veteran in her own right. That Louis Vuitton number shows this tactic is working out well.
