The biggest event in the shopping calendar, Black Friday, is the ultimate time to stock up on your beauty favourites and discover new formulas for far less than the original price tag. It is during this now month-long event that you will find skincare, fragrance, haircare, body and make-up all heavily discounted, with very few beauty brands immune from a reduction.
Ahead of Christmas, the online shopping market is a beauty playground where you will find some real gems, but only if you know where to look. I have been covering Black Friday for the last eight years. And in that time, I have seen it go from US offshoot to a chaotic four-day Supermarket Sweep-like experience to a fully-fledged 30-day event. With all these promotions, it is more important than ever to shop smart and curate your purchases. Pay attention to whether this is, in fact, a true deal rather than an inflated ‘before’ price, and whether you really need it. Will it become a staple in your routine or gather dust in a drawer? You want to get value for your outlay, so gifts with purchases are always welcome. Think ahead to the holiday season and maximise the discounts to tick each person off your shopping list.
From high-end luxury labels to lesser-known brands to pharmacy heroes, there is a broad range of products that will be on sale. There are always discounts across tools and devices like hair stylers, LED masks by the likes of Dyson, GHD and CurrentBody, premium skincare from brands including La Mer, Augustinus Bader and Drunk Elephant and make-up ranging from gift sets to palettes.
Over the course of the Black Friday period, I will be rounding up the most covetable beauty deals, with a focus on formulas that have been approved by the Vogue team.

Top Vogue-approved beauty offers ahead of Black Friday:
CurrentBody
LED Face Mask Series 2 Kit
Why it’s a deal we recommend: “This Cyber Monday, I’m elevating my skincare routine and investing in the CurrentBody Skin LED Face Mask Series 2 Kit. The red light technology wakes up your skin’s collagen production, helping to reduce the signs of ageing, increasingly a priority this side of 30, while the infrared light energises the cells below your skin, resulting in a firmer, tighter, and brighter complexion. I’ve had my eye on one for some time and the discount has made the purchase all the more enticing.” – Milly Tritton, associate director of integrated planning
This Black Friday, CurrentBody is discounting by 28 per cent. It includes the Series 2 mask, Green Tea Serum and five sheet masks. Honourable mention too goes to the The Face & Hair LED Kit, which was £1049 and is now £756.
Typebea
G•1 Overnight Boosting Peptide Hair Serum
Why it’s a deal we recommend: This supercharged hair serum calls on the power of peptides to rejuvenate the follicles. There are also gentle exfoliants to create the optimal environment for hair growth by removing flakes and dead skin cells.
Anastasia Beverly Hills
Why it’s a deal we recommend:
Apply a layer of Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Brow Freeze Gel and your brows will be locked in place. With extreme hold, it’s the ultimate solution for giving your brow looks lasting power, whether you’re going soft and fluffy or brushed up and bold.
Neom
Why it’s a deal we recommend: Ripe for holiday gifting, the Sleepy Bestsellers bundle is packed with aromatherapy label NEOM’s hero products like the soothing Perfect Night’s Sleep candle, pillow mist, bath foam, body milk and essential oil blend – all of which are infused with the sleep-inducing lavender aroma made entirely from natural fragrances.
Skin + Me
Personalised Skin Treatment
Why it’s a deal we recommend:
Skin + Me is not doing Black Friday in the traditional sense, but the personalised skincare label is offering 80 per cent off the first month of its customised treatment plan, where formulas are selected based on your needs – all without expensive dermatologist fees.
Keskine
Keskine IPL Hair Removal Handset
Why we like it: This compact device offers precision treatment for targeted areas as well as delivering a smooth, full-body experience when desired. It flashes automatically, eliminating the need to press a button, while the advanced ice-cooling technology prevents overheating and soothes your skin for a comfortable, pain-free session. Setting this device apart from others is its five presets, each designed for different parts of the body, ensuring the perfect setting for your specific needs.
FDA approved: SGS certified
Laser type: IPL
Intensity levels: 5 modes for different parts of the body

Therabody
Why it’s Vogue-approved:
“Our goal was to make it more accessible”, explains Tim Roberts, head of science at Therabody. The TheraFace Mask Glo is significantly cheaper than its TheraFace Mask predecessor (£299 vs £579), and yet it has maintained the high dose of light therapy even with fewer lights (the original has 648 vs 504). This has been achieved by upping the treatment time to 12 minutes, but it’s an entirely hands-free device, so remains easy to slip into a regular routine. I wear mine sitting in front of the TV, scrolling on my phone. There are two buttons on either side of the mask, one to start the cycle of red, red and infrared and blue light, and the other for three varieties of vibration. This massage function is unique and was designed to enhance relaxation. The lights switch after four minutes for skin rejuvenation with such benefits as improving the appearance of dark spots, wrinkles, uneven skin tone and firming. These results have been clinically tested in the largest trial of a commercially available mask, done on a broad range of skin types, in a controlled environment. There were also visible improvements on the jowls and jawline from the residual light.
Key specs:
Light Modes: 504 medical-grade LEDs – red, red+infrared or blue light
Mask Type: Hard shell rigid
Treatment Time: 12 minutes
Wireless: Yes
Device type: Face mask
Target area: Face
Best for: The TheraFace Mask Glo has the largest clinical study in the LED mask space, with 104 subjects
Good to know: Kendall Jenner is a fan of this mask and a brand ambassador
Lyma
Why it’s Vogue-approved: A step up from red light in terms of the depth its beams penetrate, Lyma’s device combines low-level cold laser therapy with NIR to rejuvenate skin from the inside out. This handheld tool can treat fine lines everywhere on the face and body – from the crow’s feet to hands and lips – and offers impressive results for deep-set concerns like pigmentation and scarring. What’s more, it fits inside your handbag and is still effective when used over your SPF or make-up. Great for the jet setter who needs on-the-go treatments, it’s no wonder this device is beloved by the celebrity set.
Device type: Handheld
Best for: deep-down skin rejuvenation. Tightening lax skin, renewing dull skin and remodelling skin with scars. Several users praise the non-invasive device for its anti-inflammatory effects on conditions like psoriasis.
Target area: Face, body, neck and hands
Treatment Time: Three plus minutes daily
Good to know: As well as whole face rejuvenation, try using it for five minutes on targeted areas like acne scarring and persistent sun spots.
Nu Face
Why it’s a deal we recommend:
For lifting, sculpting and firming skin, there’s a legion of TikTokers who swear by Nu Face’s microcurrent toning device. We tried it and can concur: it’s an excellent skincare tool for smoothing lines and a thorough depuff. Including a conductive gel activator and a travel-sized version of the cult tool, this kit comes with all the essentials for a thorough spa facial at home – or wherever you wind up during the holiday season.
Dyson
Airwrap™ Multi-Styler in Strawberry Bronze
Why it’s a deal we recommend:
Deals on Dyson are few and far between, so when the chance arises to snap up its most celebrated tool in a limited edition colourway, we suggest you grab it by the (very chic) carry case. Also included here are handy hairdresser clips and Dyson’s anti-friction comb, which has wide, polished teeth that are exceptional at detangling all hair types, and especially great at separating my crop of tangle-prone coils.
Ziip
ZIIP Halo Microcurrent Facial Device
Why it’s Vogue-approved: ZIIP Halo is a microcurrent and nanocurrent device that A-listers, including Jennifer Aniston, Margot Robbie and Kim Kardashian, swear by. A great pre-red-carpet fix, it promises to instantly lift and improve the overall texture and appearance of the skin with consistent use over time. It is paired with a companion app where founder and facialist to the stars Melanie Simon walks you through the treatments.
The ZIIP Halo uses “dual waveform” technology, which combines microcurrent and nanocurrent technology. In fact, it uses 26 different waveforms which work on multiple layers of the skin to offer results from the first session. It’s the only tool on the market that offers these two types of current together. Microcurrent is a higher frequency, low-level electrical current which stimulates the facial muscles to contract and relax, which tones them. Results last up to 72 hours. A much lower electrical current, nanocurrent, mimics the electrical impulses that the brain sends to skin cells to support their work. This helps with collagen production, cellular regeneration and more, leading to overall rejuvenation of the skin. You’ll see the best results after six weeks of consistent use.
Best for: boosting collagen production
Specs: different intensities of Microcurrent and Nanocurrent
Black Friday discount: A bundle – The Superior Set: Golden Gel – complete with gels and a pouch is £419, but worth £558
ghd
Duet Style Hot Air Styler Festive Gift Set
Why it’s a deal we recommend: Offering the sleek press of a straightener with the power of a hair dryer, GHD’s Duet Style is truly a game-changing tool. It’s taken our tresses from wet to totally dry on many a hurried morning. We know a good deal when we spot one, and this is a very good deal indeed, which includes a plush velvet case and Sleek Styler heat protectant for less than the usual cost of the Duet Style alone.
Black Friday skincare deals
Medik8
Why it’s a deal we recommend:
Should you be yet to get acquainted with Medik8’s cult line of cosmeceutical skincare, Crystal Retinal 1 is a great place to start. The retinal in its formula requires fewer conversion steps than traditional retinol to become retinoic acid, which means it works faster to smooth wrinkles, improve acne and rejuvenate your skin. I have notoriously temperamental skin, but this retinol serum is one of few I’ve been able to tolerate well without sensitivity.
Vida Glow
Why it’s Vogue-approved: There are plenty of reasons why your nails may be in poor health, so to improve their strength, condition and health, you need a similarly layered formula. We like this formula that uses a host of quality ingredients like hyaluronic acid to reinstate hydration and marine collagen tripeptides to encourage keratin formation. The advanced supplement has visible benefits for the skin, too. It has been independently, scientifically studied, and almost all participants saw smoother skin in three weeks and more skin elasticity in eight weeks.
One of the most popular products from the French Pharmacy brand Caudalie, the Vinoperfect serum comes with rave reviews for reducing discolouration. The formula boasts Viniferine (a patented skin brightener that inhibits tyrosinase to stop excess melanin production) and is great for tackling stubborn sun spots as well as scars left behind by acne. To top it all off, it has a silky consistency that feels dreamy on the skin, and it sinks in fast to leave your face feeling thoroughly nourished.
Dr Dennis Gross
Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel Pads
Why it’s a deal we recommend:
If you’ve tried these exfoliating pads from Dr Dennis Gross, you don’t need us to explain their appeal. But for the uninitiated, they’re a two-step system that works hard to smooth and brighten skin. The first pad is steeped in alpha and beta hydroxy acids that decongest pores and smooth texture, while the second calls on hyaluronic acid to replenish moisture levels and keep your barrier intact. I’ll be stocking up on these during the sales.
111Skin
Rose Gold Brightening Facial Treatment Mask 5 x 30ml
Why it’s a deal we recommend:
111Skin’s luxurious line of sheet masks needs no introduction. A favourite among Vogue editors, this particular set of face masks are infused with colloidal gold particles which instantly enhance skin’s luminosity and provide powerful antioxidant protection. “These masks are an essential step in my skin prep routine before big events. They don’t just deliver an unparalleled glow – they also plump and smooth the face in a way that makes any make-up you follow them with look absolutely seamless. Cult Beauty’s deal is the best price for a box of five that I’ve seen to date – I’ll be stocking up.” – Tracy Achonwa, beauty shopping writer
Elemis
Pro Collagen Rose Cleansing Balm
A cult classic that you’ll rarely find for less than £40, this balm nourishes skin with rose petal extract and Padina Pavonica as it melts the day’s grime away.
Why it’s Vogue-approved: If you’re looking for something that straddles zesty freshness with sensual warmth and skin-like softness, this is a great pick. While ambery woods provide a lasting anchor that hooks onto skin, geranium and bergamot are on hand to add a burst of contrasting brightness.
Size: 100ml
Chanel
Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum
Why we love it: If No. 5 was Mademoiselle Coco’s interpretation of modern femininity, then Coco Mademoiselle is an ode to the icon herself. Fresh, bold, and mischievous, this is a scent that will stop you in your tracks and leave you wanting more. My personal favourite of the bunch, this eau de parfum leads with a vibrant orange burst, balanced by a jasmine accord, May rose, patchouli, and vetiver. It’s rich, but not in an overpowering way, making it excellent for warm nights or a daytime adventure.
Variations: Following the eau de parfum launch in 2001, Polge developed the eau de toilette just a year later, relying on grapefruit instead for citrus notes. This collection also features a parfum, eau de parfum intense, and l’eau privée.
Notes: Rose, jasmine, orange, patchouli, vetiver
TOM FORD
In its elegantly fluted and instantly recognisable glass bottle, Black Orchid has remained one of the most popular fragrances in the Tom Ford collection since its inception in 2006. The addictive aroma has a heady blend of lotus, orchid, spices, jasmine and fruit notes, while the base is sensual, warm and woody.
Why this is a Vogue top pick: With fresh notes of peony and iris blended with creamy musks, vanilla, and a hint of tonka bean, the Miss Dior Eau de Parfum is soft, sensual and the ultimate fan favourite. Finished with a ribbon flourish, it’s also the perfume gift that practically wraps itself – what’s not to love?
Best Black Friday beauty gift sets
Jones Road
Why it’s a deal we recommend:
A one-stop shop of the Jones Road formulas we love the most, this set is a prime pick for the party season. From the buildable Miracle Balm blush to the luscious tinted balm, each product gets you the kind of finish that keeps people guessing. “Expect a barrage of compliments and curious questions on the radiance of your skin – Jones Road excels at formulas that give you polish, while making it look as if you’re not wearing any make-up at all.” – Naomi Smart, Vogue shopping director, Europe
Charlotte Tilbury
Hollywood Iconic Mini Lip Trio
Housed in a Lulu Guinness-esque lip-shaped tin is a trio of sultry shades from Charlotte Tilbury’s pout-perfecting lipstick collection. The tonal pink colourways were selected for their universal appeal. They come in mini form but are still encased in the brand’s signature luxe gold exterior.
Best Black Friday haircare deals
Color Wow
Dream Coat Supernatural Anti Humidity Spray
Get caught in a downpour after you’ve styled your hair using Color Wow’s Dream Coat, and your tresses may look wet, but they’ll be totally frizz-free. We know this because we’ve tried it and witnessed the uncanny phenomenon for ourselves. A must-try product for good hair days, every day.
Why it’s a deal we recommend: My hair has always been my security blanket, so when I first tried Remi Cachet extensions after a period of shedding, I felt immediately more confident. These true-to-life clip-ins are included in the Black Friday sale with 25 per cent off sitewide – that extends to tools, haircare and accessories.
Best Black Friday make-up deals
Merit
Why we love it: Berry-stained beauty has a hold on the TikTok cohort, and it’s easy to see its sweet appeal. Merit’s creamy cheek colour – a cult classic for the brand – is key to achieving that just-back-from-a-berry-patch flush. Available in nine hues ranging from the soft-peach Beverly Hills to the sheer-red Rouge, the blush swipes on directly from its rounded stick, leaving a sheer, lit-from-within finish in its wake. The formula is buildable, so you can pick your colour intensity depending on the day. But if it’s the viral “strawberry girl” flush you’re after, keep reading for Vogue’s recipe for achieving the look.
Key ingredients: Vitamin E, microfine pigment powders
How to use: To get a strawberry-glazed beauty look inspired by the likes of Hailey Bieber, create a base with a tinted moisturiser or a lightweight, dewy foundation (The Minimalist would be a safe bet). After applying a face base, sweep the Flush Balm along the apples of the cheeks and over the bridge of the nose, where the sun naturally hits. Blend it in with a finger, a brush, or a sponge, and voila: a summery, outdoorsy flush to keep ashen winter skin at bay.
Refy
Why it’s a deal we recommend
The REFY Brow Sculpt is a holy grail tool – and that is down to its versatility. The applicator is coated with a wax-gel strong-hold formula that is waterproof, while on the other is a double-sided brush that allows you to get creative with your brows to shape, style and laminate should you wish.
Glossier
Best blush for fair skin
Type: gel-cream
Finish: natural skin-like flush, neither matte nor shimmery
Size: 10ml
Why we love it: A creamy, blendable cheek colour that instantly melts into the skin, Glossier’s Cloud Paint is inspired by New York sunsets. The Dusk shade is universally flattering and works particularly well on paler skins.
Uklash
UKlash Eyelash Growth Serum
Why it’s Vogue-approved: One of the most celebrated eyelash growth serums on the market, UKLash nourishes and conditions lashes – with the aid of vitamin B5 (panthenol), green tea extract, and myristoyl pentapeptide-17 — to stimulate growth. A bonus? It’s super quick to apply, meaning it’s easy to incorporate into your beauty routine.
Charlotte Tilbury
Pillow Talk Matte Beauty Blush Wand Duo
Why it’s a deal we recommend:
The genius of Charlotte Tilbury’s sale is that it is primed for the gifting season, allowing you to score several of the brand’s bestsellers at two products for the price of one. Take, for example, its viral beauty wand blushes, which you can shop in your summer and winter shade – or, if you’re feeling generous, buy for yourself and a friend.
Morphe
Why it’s a deal we recommend
With party season fast approaching, it’s a good time to stock up on the best setting sprays, which help maximise your festive glam. Morphe’s mist is one I turn to time and time again – it contains vitamin E which both enhances and protects the skin, marries your make-up together beautifully and leaves behind a mesmerising glow.
FAQs
For 2025, Black Friday takes place officially on Friday, 28 November. This sounds the klaxon for the beginning of the four-day shopping event that culminates on Cyber Monday on 1 December. That being said, I have noticed in recent years that the sale begins earlier and earlier. Retailers like Boots did a whole month of discounts for 2023 and 2024 and we expect that this year is no different.
When do the Black Friday beauty deals start?
As I mentioned above, Black Friday is no longer confined simply to the last weekend in November. The US-import now is celebrated for 30 whole days and so the kick off was 1 November, rather than simply the day after Thanksgiving as was once the tradition.
How to find the best Black Friday beauty deals
There is no brand immune from the Cyber Week sales, which means that finding the best beauty deals can feel like an overwhelming task. I am an expert in searching out the worthwhile deals, but I have also called on the expertise of Vogue’s beauty and shopping teams to find out what they will be adding to basket.
“This is the time of year to stock up on old favourites that you know you are likely to purchase time and time again,” advises Jessica Diner, global beauty & wellness director. “So make a wish list of your can’t-live-without products and then go forth and buy them in bulk. Mine includes the Augustinus Bader Rich Cream, the Benefit Roller Lash Mascara, and Olaplex’s No. 7 Bonding Oil.”
What are the best Black Friday beauty brands to watch?
I am looking out for discounts at Glossier, Charlotte Tilbury and GHD for some of my favourite hair and make-up that I would otherwise purchase at full price. Retailers like Sephora and LookFantastic are a great place to start, too.
Shopping editor Joy Montgomery has found looking out for high-ticket beauty brands to be the ultimate sales hack. “When it comes to shopping the Cyber Monday beauty sales, I always find that searching by brand is the best way to go,” she recommends. “There are certain names that can be expensive full-price that I always keep an eye out for in the sales: I’m thinking Skinceuticals, Medik8 and Sunday Riley.”
