Gisele Takes A Night Off From Rich Mom Style To Go For Gold
Gisele followed her tried-and-true red-carpet glam formula, wearing her blonde hair swept loosely to the side, soft brown smoky eyes, and a petal-pink lip. The super was joined by fellow legendary models including Tyra Banks and Farida Khelfa, as well as Schiaparelli designer Daniel Roseberry, Alton Mason, Queen Latifah, Paloma Elsesser, Lindsay Lohan, Emma Roberts and Adrien Brody. Other guests opted for similarly statement-making looks: Elsesser in a sheer black Alaïa gown with a face-framing headpiece, for one.
Two major awards were presented on the night in Doha, Qatar: the Lifetime Achievement Award went to Miuccia Prada, recognising her transformative impact on contemporary fashion, and the Trailblazer Award to Zuhair Murad, honouring his role in shaping and elevating Arab couture on the global stage.
Alessandro Michele’s most recent collection has found fans from newly minted ambassador Dakota Johnson (who debuted a sheer pink look at Vogue World Hollywood), to Hamnet star Jessie Buckley in a plunging, white and black gown, and Amanda Seyfried in a chocolate brown cap-sleeved dress at the Governors Awards.
Gisele’s look marked a glamorous return to the red carpet. She welcomed a baby boy with her partner Joaquim Valente back in February, and more often than not can be found in Brazil or Miami, where she’s the reigning queen of rich mom style: think perfectly paired athleisure for morning pilates, precisely tailored suits and flowing trousers in a sandy palette. But as Gisele proves once more, this rich mom is just as comfortable in a fashion gala-friendly gown.
