This Winter, We’ll All Be Wearing The Boho Chloé Wave
Anderson, who styled her hair in a short, strawberry blonde, shaggy bob, perfectly captured the rock and roll energy of the look, wearing a jewel-studded black dress, patterned tights and fuchsia heels to the Valentino show.
At the Chloé spring/summer 2026 show, the Jagger sisters were the mirror image of one another with their loose, straight-ended waves. Olivia Wilde wore her caramel-highlighted midi-cut with a slight bend and centre part, a subtle Chloé wave adding body to her hair.
According to Sienna Miller’s hairstylist, Sam McKnight, the key to nailing boho hair is imperfection. “Truly tousled hair is cool and effortless, it doesn’t try too hard,” he told British Vogue. “So creating a texture in hair that feels natural and not over-styled is key – whether it’s created with styling tools, or your natural hair is enhanced with styling products, it’s all about movement.”
McKnight points to his own Cool Girl Texture Mist, which he created to mimic the sensual tousle he creates for Kate Moss, and explains that it should be misted on and scrunched into the hair.
If you’re using a tong, remember to curl or wave the hair in different directions – it’ll give you body and movement without looking too obvious or uniform. If you’re using a curler, hold onto the end as you unwrap the hair and gently tug it towards the ground. This will help to elongate the spiral, turning it into more of a S-shaped wave as the hair cools.
