Sarah Jessica Parker Is Still Taking Fashion Cues From Carrie Bradshaw
RIP Carrie Bradshaw, you would’ve loved Sarah Jessica Parker’s latest look.
Yesterday, the actor stopped by CBS Mornings to discuss her publishing venture, SJP Lit, and the end of And Just Like That… For the television appearance, Parker wore a grey button-up paired with a floral dirndl and pink pumps. Outside the studio, she layered up in a hot-pink jacquard coat with cropped sleeves. (Parker wasn’t the only one in statement-making shoes: co-host Gayle King showed off her holographic teal pumps from Parker’s eponymous SJP line.)

’Twas a look that would make Carrie proud, from the clashing prints, to the heaped-on accessories. (Parker added several bracelets, a Chanel bag, and her signature face-shielding shades.)
On the subject of AJLT…, which called it quits at the end of its third season, Parker said, “It was a difficult decision… I think it’s out of respect for this really singular professional experience that you have to consider what you want to do.” She added: “Sometimes it’s best to gracefully walk away when things feel really right and sort of energetic, versus squeezing and exploiting people’s generosity and hospitality.”
That said, Parker also said, “I’m not certain I understand what that decision means, because I could just be on hiatus.” So whether or not there’s more to Carrie Bradshaw’s story later on down the line, at least Sarah Jessica Parker can keep her fashion alive.
