Shark FacialPro Review: This Device Cleanses, Extracts, Hydrates and Depuffs
HydraFacial has become one of the most popular facial treatments on the market. The concept is simple: using suction, water and exfoliating skincare, the aestheticians remove dead skin cells that cause dullness, impurities and blackheads. It’s non-invasive and gentle, so anyone can do it. The only problem? The cost. Once you see how radiant and clear your skin looks, it’s hard not to become a regular.
Enter Shark’s FacialPro Glow – the first of its kind. The category-starting FacialPro is the first time that you can get close to the quality of a HydraFacial from home. The innovating vacuum, air fryer and beauty brand has developed this tool in conjunction with dermatologists to offer hydrated, glowing skin. And it’s deserving of a place in your skincare tool arsenal.

What is the FacialPro?
The FacialPro is made up of a base, two attachments and four hydra-abrasion tips. One attachment is used for the pore-unclogging facial, with two tanks as part of the dual-pump system. There is one for clean water and one for the waste (the used water intermingled with makeup, oil and impurities that are removed from the complexion). The tips are affixed to provide targeted suction for different areas of the face, with a designated tip for the T-zone as well as specialised gentle options.
The other is a gua sha-inspired de-puffing and contouring tool that can go from ice cold to pleasantly warm in seconds, and while it is designed to be used on the face, it doubles up as a full-body treatment to combat muscle soreness by boosting circulation. This element, known as the DePuffi, will also encourage your skincare products to absorb more effectively and thus give you more bang for your buck.
How does the FacialPro work?
The device is incredibly easy to use. Fill it with water, switch it on, apply the serum to your complexion and move across the face in an upward motion as you would with any lymphatic draining tool. The entire process takes around 10 minutes.
As far as the serum is concerned, Shark includes its own Korean lab-created Derm Detox exfoliating gel, combining AHA buffing glycolic acid and blemish-busting BHA salicylic acid. While the Hydro Infuse Hydrator is packed with hydrating hero hyaluronic acid and firming peptides to supercharge moisture levels.
The DePuffi is the more relaxing of the two attachments, while the InstaChill and InstaHeat technologies are pretty miraculous at just how speedily they can go from cryo-level cold to calming warmth. There are six temperature levels, and the sculpting impact is impressive. I’m a huge fan of ice globes in the fridge rolled over the eyes to combat puffiness and tiredness, but the DePuffi works instantly with no cool box required, which makes it ideal for travel.
The Vogue Verdict
I rushed at the chance to try the Shark FacialPro Glow + DePuffi for myself. I find it incredibly satisfying to see the residue in the tank after a professional HydraFacial, and I was wondering if I could get the same results myself. I noticed, in just one use, that my skin immediately felt cleaner, but not in a stripping way. The gunk tank was illuminated with leftover makeup – despite cleansing – as well as dead skin cells and excess oil. The thorough cleaning was undeniable. This matched the clinical trials undertaken by the brand, which found that using the device boosted hydration by 128 per cent.
