She swept her glossy waves into a low ponytail at the nape of her neck, twisted the lengths and then rolled them into a neat bun, securing by tucking the ends through the centre and pulling taut. Surprisingly polished for a DIY hairstyle, Kate is clearly no stranger to the technique – which, for the uninitiated, is trickier to master than it appears.
