The Dyson Supersonic Is At The Lowest Price It’s Ever Been This Prime Day
This Prime Day, Dyson’s Supersonic hair dryer, in the chic Prussian blue and rich copper colourway, is at the lowest price it has ever been.
The tool, which is beloved by professional stylists, has been reduced from its £329.99 price point to £218.49. And there are only 12 hours to make the most of the discount as the October Amazon Prime Day sale ends as the clocks strike midnight on 8 October.
The Dyson Supersonic has been a fixture backstage at fashion week since its creation in 2016. With the gadget’s futuristic design, it was in this year that the Singapore-based tech giant revolutionised the hair drying industry.
Until this point, the humble hair dryer had remained relatively uniform in its design: L-shaped and lacquered black. This was no longer the case when the sleek silver and pink-accented product, with its instantly recognisable circular head, came to market.
The idea was to create a tool that would quickly dry your hair without causing thermal damage, while remaining speedy and lightweight. So founder James Dyson unveiled Air Multiplier technology, which uses a motor to create a high-pressure air jet to protect hair health. It also features intelligent heat controls that constantly manage the temperature to keep it optimal for speed and shine. It never reaches above 150 degrees.
The industry-approved Supersonic was the first in the trio of hair dryers now available at Dyson to use this technology. It has three heat and speed settings and a range of five attachments (from a diffuser to a flyaway-combating option) that make it one of the most versatile hair dryers on the market for any and all hair types, whether you have thick or thin, straight or coily strands.
The Supersonic Nural followed in May 2024 with boosted smart AI functionality, while the Supersonic r Hair Dryer cut size and time with its speedy operation.
